Ever wonder if your practices are making a difference? Should you keep going? Should you stop?
If so, this is for you.
I’ve told you about one of my practices, Reiki, and how my consistent practice created an upward spiral of positive results for me. And, on the flip side, how years later my lack of consistent practice created a downward spiral of negative results.
What about you?
Have you noticed an upward trend in your life when you are consistent with your practices? A downward trend when you’re not consistent?
An inspiring client
I’m going to tell you a story about a client of mine who serves as an inspiring role model for me.
Several years ago, I learned a technique to measure a person’s energetic vibration on a scale developed by Dr. David Hawkins.
The scale goes from 1 to 1000, with 1 being the negative extreme and 1000 being the positive extreme. The level of 500 being the point at which a person starts to exhibit a mainly positive, spiritual vibration.
After I learned the technique, I started testing where people were at on the scale and the results surprised me.
I tested a group of practitioners in a holistic therapy practice I’ve trained in and each of them was the high 400 range.
I thought it was strange that this group would test so low on the scale given their training – that was until I started asked questions. This one was the most revealing:
“Are you consistent with your practices?”
Guess what? They weren’t.
On the other hand, let me tell you about this inspiring client of mine who was one of my regulars back in Shetland.
When I tested her for the first time she measured in the mid 500’s. I was impressed! She absolutely was consistent with her practices. Also telling was the fact that she was a REGULAR client of mine; she came to me for Reiki every month like clockwork.
I was so inspired by this client. She was doing the things that kept her in that upward positive spiral – and it showed in her vibration. She didn’t wait until she was in a negative spiral to do her practices. Her consistent practices kept her energy high.
Not only was she consistent with her practices, but she was constantly learning and exploring new practices. I was truly humbled by her example.
Now when I test clients I can absolutely tell, by their position on that scale, what they have been doing (or not doing) with their time. If they measure below 500 I know they’ve either not got a spiritual or energetic practice, or they are inconsistent.
It’s so fascinating to me to see the results of people’s actions in their energetic vibration.
Moral of the story
Yes, spiritual and energetic practices DO make a difference.
My job as an energy practitioner is two-fold:
- Use the tools I have available to help people get into the 500+ range of the energetic scale;
- Help people develop consistent practices to stay in that range for the rest of their lives.
When people have a positive vibration the positive results will follow.
Don’t yet have a consistent practice? Here are a few things you could try to get you started:
- Reiki
- Energy Work
- Prayer
- Forgiveness (it’s virtually impossible to maintain a high vibration while holding on to negative feelings about others)
- Meditation
- Sound healing
- etc, etc.
Whatever you choose, you’ll get the best results with consistency.
