I started out learning about our innate ability to heal ourselves when I myself was very sick.
There are many tools available to us to bring about the healing of our physical bodies, from energy-based therapies, visualisation, the power of words, prayer, angels, etc. I love them all and they all work.
To me, healing is like my favourite meal: a huge buffet with lots of interesting things to choose from and experience.
I find it endlessly fascinating to experiment on myself with different tools, then pass on what I learn to others.
One of the simplest healing tools I have come across is the power of love.
One night I felt I was coming down with a virus. My head was sore, my sinuses were irritated, my nose was streaming, and my body ached.
As I lay on the couch I decided to use The Love Formula on myself.
I put my hands over my face and silently said to myself, “I love you” over and over for about an hour.
Afterwards, I felt much better, and as an added bonus the jaw pain I experience sometimes – due to incomplete orthodontic treatment -was also gone!
After that, I used The Love Formula on my shoulder, as I had hurt myself earlier in the week by carrying bags that were too heavy for me. When I was done my shoulder was better.
How to use The Love Formula in your own life:
- Place your hands on any part of your body that is painful or is dis-eased and repeat over and over again, for about an hour, “I love you”.
- Repeat as necessary until you feel better.
- You can also do this to help heal disharmony between yourself and others. Just think of the person you are out of alignment with and silently repeat “I love you” over and over until you feel the disharmony shift.
